Hellraiser: Revival Pain and Suffering Pillar Locations

Collectibles Last reviewed: 2026-10-09

Activate five Pain Pillars for health upgrades and five Suffering Pillars for upgrades to Suffering, the resource associated with Genesis Configuration powers. PowerPyx’s October 8, 2026 roadmap warns that these Labyrinth collectibles are highly missable: walls often close behind you, preventing backtracking.[1]

The ten entries below follow the order in PowerPyx’s October 8 walkthrough. Numbers are separate for each pillar type, so Suffering Pillar #2 is not the second pillar overall. Match your Objectives menu to the listed phase; use progression checkpoints if you need broader orientation.[2]

First three pillars: Free Sunny’s Soul

Order Pillar Objective Landmark and route
1 Pain #1 Free Sunny’s Soul Beyond the first moving diamond-obstacle hallway, turn right at the intersection with the bloody wall opening. Cross the room containing four more diamond obstacles.
2 Suffering #1 Free Sunny’s Soul After the descending-roof and spiked-wall section, turn left at the red-lit intersection. Look inside the area with traps rotating counterclockwise.
3 Suffering #2 Free Sunny’s Soul In the stretch with the distant Leviathan and Chatterer appearances, turn around when arches come into view. The pillar is behind you.

Stop before the decorated arch for Suffering #2. The walkthrough identifies an arch with two blue flames and gold accents as the point that means you have gone too far. Check behind you at the earlier arches rather than waiting for that more distinctive gateway.[2]

Boss and later-objective spoilers: the remaining seven pillars

Later Labyrinth visits

Order Pillar Objective Landmark and route
4 Suffering #3 Give Charlotte’s Heart to Sunny On the main route immediately after the save point in the Labyrinth entered after Charlotte.
5 Pain #2 Give Charlotte’s Heart to Sunny Pass the paired wall spikes, turn left and reach the dead end to rotate the area ahead. Retrace through the spikes, then turn right onto the newly available route.
6 Suffering #4 Exit the Labyrinth, after retrieving the Genesis Configuration In the rotating octagonal-platform room, the pillar sits on the third section. Rotate the second and third sections to reach it before leaving.
7 Pain #3 Same Exit the Labyrinth phase After the ladder, find the moving staircases. Align the two left-side Labyrinth Cubes with their platforms, apply fire to the room’s pillar, then follow the opened route around it.
8 Pain #4 Give The Sister of Mercy’s Heart to Sunny On the main path immediately upon entering the next Labyrinth after that fight.
9 Suffering #5 Hunt Marlowe, after that heart return In the moving Leviathan-beam area, transfer the central flame to the right-side block. Enter that side area and raise the block to reveal the pillar.
10 Pain #5 Reclaim the Genesis Configuration from Bruno Complete the painted-door picture by flipping its wall sections. The pillar is beyond the door.

Two route cautions

For Pain #2, the return through the wall spikes is part of the pickup route: visiting the left dead end changes which path leads to the collectible. For Suffering #5, recover the fire afterward and send it back to the pillar to reopen the exit route. PowerPyx reports no checkpoint in that beam area; dying there returns you to the manual save point.[2]

Confirm both sets separately

There Are No Limits requires activating all five Pain Pillars. Pain And Pleasure, Indivisible requires activating all five Suffering Pillars. The first activation of either type also satisfies The Further Regions of Experience. Keep those requirements separate when reviewing what remains.[1]

The walkthrough reports that the all-Pain trophy may unlock at the fourth Pain Pillar. That observation does not establish that you collected all five: the source still lists a fifth location. For a complete collection, follow every entry rather than treating an early notification as the collection count.[2]

Before replacing an older manual save, review the completion planning guide. PowerPyx reports no Chapter Select or post-story free roam, so preserving a save before missed pillars matters more than planning a post-ending sweep.[1]
